A different way of doing policy research

PEP has developed a unique research “Grant Plus” support program that empowers local experts in developing countries to produce high-quality scientific evidence, while successfully engaging with policy stakeholders and decision-makers.

New projects

In 2019, PEP selected 20 new projects for support under two innovative programs to strengthen policy-oriented research in Africa. All projects are conducted by, or in direct collaboration with, local government institutions.
